Jermaine Jackson

Mr. Jackson is a community leader and volunteer. He is a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo MI where he serves as a trustee on the Kalamazoo Public School board. He is a employee with the Kalamazoo Public Library serving the community through community outreach and engagement for 18 plus years. Mr Jackson was recently nominated by community leaders to receive a statewide recognition by the Michigan Library Association Support Staff of the Year Award for his outstanding & continual efforts to engage the Library world and community. Mr. Jackson is very passionate about this particular educational exhibit which was first publicly unveiled at the Barnaby Art Gallery at the Alma Powell Branch of the Kalamazoo Public Library in February of 2018. Introducing the now only traveling exhibit in the country of the Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.
